Job Description

As a key member of our Apparel Design team, you will play a vital role in bringing our collections to life. Your responsibilities will include assisting the design process from technical sketching and trim sourcing to sample management and range board creation.

Collaborate closely with our Design, Production, Merchandise, Marketing, and Ecommerce teams to ensure every detail reflects our signature quality and style. Based in Melbourne, you will also connect with international suppliers, contributing to the success of our premium apparel ranges.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Assist the Apparel Design team across all categories throughout the design process
  • Create and update technical sketches using Adobe Illustrator
  • Prepare and maintain range boards and distribute to relevant teams
  • Source trims following designer briefs and maintain accurate BOMs
  • Manage samples by tracking, sending, and organizing
  • Write 'Features and Benefits' copy for the apparel range
  • Support presentation preparation and ensure the design workspace is organized
  • Liaise with external suppliers and coordinate with internal teams to meet business objectives
  • Maintain accurate records with strong attention to detail, particularly in Excel
Qualifications and Skills:

Tertiary qualification in fashion, design, graphics, or a related creative field is highly desirable. 1-2 years hands-on experience in a similar role within a fashion retail business is required.

Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is essential. Experience managing high workloads and meeting strict deadlines is also necessary.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data and information management are crucial. Excellent time management and problem-solving skills are also required.
