Job Title: Equipment Maintenance Specialist
Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time role that requires a mix of day and night shifts.
Key Responsibilities- Perform planned preventative maintenance on site equipment.
- Prioritize health and safety protocols in all work carried out.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, communicate effectively with affected teams, and resolve issues efficiently.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by analyzing breakdowns and providing feedback and suggestions for enhancements through the line manager.
- Maintain high levels of equipment availability for internal customers.
- Collaborate and learn from Senior Maintenance Technicians.
- A formal trade qualification: Certificate III in Electrotechnology or Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering (Fitter/Turner). Alternatively, formally recognized trade qualifications in Australia.
- Experience with planned preventative maintenance systems.
- Proficiency in fault finding within Material Handling Equipment/Automation systems.
- Ability to read and understand electrical/mechanical drawings.
- Experience in conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters.
- Experience in working to relevant health and safety standards and regulations.

Other Requirements- Familiarity with CMMS systems is advantageous.
- Experience with sortation machines would be beneficial.
- Knowledge of maintaining/configuring bar code scanners is desirable.
- Understanding of print and apply machines is a plus.
