Ebury Payments Operations Graduate Specialist

Ebury is a high-growth FinTech firm with a strong presence in the financial services industry.
We offer a range of innovative products and services, including FX risk management, trade finance, currency accounts, international payments, and API integration.
The Payments Operations Graduate role in our Sydney office will require you to work on-site 5 days a week and commit to a minimum of 38 hours per week.
To be considered for this role, you must hold Australian Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship. Please do not apply if you are holding a Subclass Visa or require Sponsorship to work in Australia.
As a Payments Operations Graduate, your key responsibilities will include:
- Verifying client payments and ensuring compliance with internal processes and SLAs
- Completing payment beneficiaries and maintaining accurate records
- Providing excellent customer service and resolving issues related to transactions and payments
- Taking instructions from clients offline and processing them in accordance with internal processes
- Assigning tasks and demonstrating end-to-end ownership
- Creating and enriching transaction reporting files
- Reconciling client funds, FX settlements, and internal cash movements
- Investigating unallocated and non-received funds and escalating as necessary
- Funding client trades where manual funding is required
- Monitoring payment status in third-party banking and payment platforms
- Updating client information and adhering to relevant processes and procedures
In order to succeed in this role, you will need to possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proactive attitude, ability to work under pressure, and meet deadlines
- Diligence and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Curious and eager to learn, with a desire to make Ebury a success
- Fluency in written and spoken English; Mandarin and Cantonese language skills are also an asset
This role offers a competitive salary of AU$70,000 - AU$90,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits.
