Aboriginal Community Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Aboriginal Community Development Manager to lead our Community Development Program (CDP) in remote Indigenous Communities.
This position is based in our Darwin Support Office with travel requirements to remote communities for overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop local staff across sites, ensuring effective service delivery and adherence to national guidelines.
- Support and manage community-based CDP programs, finances, and partnerships with participants and community stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the ALPA CDP Leadership Team to align activities with participant preferences and community priorities.
- Contribute positively to maintaining a robust WHS framework and promoting continuous improvement in project management.
We are looking for someone with relevant experience and qualifications in CDP or human services, along with proven leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities.
A strong communication skillset, senior management advisory experience, and a track record of successful CDP operation management are essential.
You will also possess analytical and problem-solving skills, risk management expertise, and ethical integrity in Community Development Service delivery.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits including:
- 5 weeks annual leave + 17.5% leave loading
