Senior Community Development Program Manager

About the Role
At ALPA, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Community Development Program Manager to lead and develop our local staff across sites, enabling our Community Development Program (CDP) participants and other community members to pursue and achieve their goals, improve their quality of life, and increase the support to access all opportunities available within the community.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop local staff across sites, driving exceptional outcomes in community development.
- Meet service delivery guidelines and report to the National Indigenous Australians Agency and GM of Community Services, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Support and manage community-based CDP programs and finances, promoting financial sustainability and community empowerment.
- Collaborate with participants and community for support strategies and timely responses, fostering strong relationships and trust.
- Align activities with participant preferences and community priorities, ensuring culturally responsive and inclusive practices.
- Contribute positively to the ALPA CDP Leadership Team and maintain strong ALPA group relationships, promoting a culture of collaboration and excellence.
About You
- Relevant experience and qualifications in CDP or human services, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Proven leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities, with a focus on developing local staff and community capacity.
- Strong communication skills and senior management advisory experience, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and communities.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and project management, with a focus on driving results and achieving impact.
- Dedication to maintaining a robust WHS framework, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
- Ethical integrity in Community Development Service delivery, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and respect.
