Aboriginal Health Practice Nurse Position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Aboriginal Health Practice Nurse to deliver professional, evidence-based healthcare to children and the community in rural Australia. The ideal candidate will have experience in both practice settings and working with Aboriginal communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver primary healthcare services to Aboriginal patients, focusing on prevention, treatment, and health education.
- Support chronic disease management, maternal and child health, and immunization programs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care.
- Work closely with community leaders to promote culturally safe health practices.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
- Experience in Aboriginal health and/or rural and remote healthcare.
- Strong cultural awareness and the ability to work effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
