Warehouse Operative

Momentum Consulting are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to work in a Scrap Metal yard on the Sunshine Coast.

The role involves operating a counterbalance forklift, unloading trucks of scrap metal, moving scrap around the yard, and performing manual handling tasks.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A current Forklift Licence (LF)
  • 12 months experience working with a forklift in a warehouse environment
  • Reliable transport and a valid driver's licence

As a Warehouse Operative, you can expect:

  • Ongoing employment
  • Monday to Friday shifts
  • Opportunities for overtime pay
  • $34.42 per hour

This is a casual position, requiring a high level of flexibility and reliability.

Key Requirements:

  • Current Forklift Licence (LF)
  • 12 months experience working with a forklift in a warehouse environment
  • Reliable transport and a valid driver's licence

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay Types:

  • Overtime pay
  • Penalty rates

Ability to Commute/Relocate:

  • Sunshine Coast QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • Yard Forklift: 1 year (preferred)
