Overview

Operators/Labourers, Belt Pickers and Forklift Operators – based at InfraBuild Recycling Hemmant site. We are currently seeking applications for the roles listed below.

  • Belt Picker – Picking and sorting scrap metal from conveyor
  • Operator/Labourer – Sorting scrap metal
  • Forklift Operator – Move and load sorted materials into designated containers or storage areas
Hours and Pay
  • Belt Picker: 6am – 2pm, Monday to Friday with overtime available. Pay rate: $30.65 per hour, plus overtime paid at penalty rates.
  • Operator/Labourer: 6am – 2pm, Monday to Friday with overtime available. Pay rate: $30.65 per hour OR $32.20 if you have a forklift licence, plus overtime paid at penalty rates.
  • Forklift Operator: 6am – 2pm, Monday to Friday with overtime available. Pay rate: $32.20 per hour, plus overtime paid at penalty rates.
Skills and Experience
  • Ability to learn how to quickly and accurately identify different types of metal
  • High risk forklift licence, desirable
  • Experience in scrap recycling, construction or manufacturing, desirable
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced yard environment
  • A positive and safety-focused mindset with a general willingness to learn
  • Passion for working as part of a collaborative team
