Job Details

We are seeking applications for labourers and operators roles at our site.

  • Belt Picker: Picking and sorting scrap metal from conveyor
  • Operator/Labourer: Sorting scrap metal
  • Forklift Operator: Moving and loading sorted materials into designated containers or storage areas
Main Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will learn to identify different types of metal, work in a fast-paced yard environment with a positive and safety-focused mindset, and maintain a general willingness to learn and work collaboratively as part of a team.

Key Requirements
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding role with occasional exposure to high-risk environments
  • High risk forklift licence is desirable, but not essential
  • Experience in scrap recycling, construction or manufacturing is also desirable
