Programmed Skilled Workforce are currently seeking reliable Belt Pickers, Forklift Operators, Excavator Operators and Trade Assistants to join a well-established team located in Hemmant, QLD.

Our client specializes in the safe handling, processing, and distribution of scrap metals to international and local markets. Belt Pickers, Forklift Operators, Excavator Operators & Trade Assistants

The Roles:


• Belt Pickers will be required to work on an automated belt and removing items that should not have come through the screening process. E.g. motherboard chips, and plastic


• Forklift Operators will need to load and unload scrap metal materials


• Excavator operators will move materials around the yard as required


• Trade Assistants will assist maintenance fitters and welders with general laboring tasks, including manual handling, yard work, and use of hand and power tools such as welders, grinders, and oxy cutters.


• Various outdoor general hand duties


• Extensive manual handling and sorting of metal materials


• Working alongside Trade Qualified fitters and boilermakers

What we are looking for:


• All Forklift Roles require a valid Forklift License and previous experience


• All Excavator Roles require a valid Skid Steer License


• All Trade Assistant Roles require a Confined Space Certificate and EWP Licence. A Forklift Licence is desirable for these roles.


• Experience within similar environment/roles highly advantageous


• Positive work ethic and attitude toward safety


• Willingness to work in an outdoor setting at all times
