Support Worker Job

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in people's lives by providing support and assistance to clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Provide bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support to ensure clients maintain their dignity and independence.
  • Domestic Support: Assist with cleaning, laundry, meal prep, and maintaining a safe home environment.
  • Social & Community Engagement: Accompany clients on outings, appointments, and social events to promote connection and belonging.
  • Life Skills & Independence: Support clients with shopping, cooking, and daily living activities.
  • Medication & Transport Assistance: Provide medication and transport assistance where suitably qualified.
  • Respite & Mental Health Support: Offer temporary care and behavioural support to clients in need.
Requirements
  • A current QLD C/CA Driver's Licence + reliable vehicle.
  • A compassionate and client-centred approach.
  • Strong communication and resilience in varied situations.
  • A Certificate III (or higher) in Individual Support or equivalent.
  • 12+ months of industry experience.
  • Experience in personal care, manual handling, and behavioural support.
