The government seeks a skilled Crime Support Specialist to join the Victims of Crime Response Team.
You will provide immediate support to victims and their families in the days following a violent crime, working collaboratively with external stakeholders to ensure access to appropriate services and support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing referrals for eligible victims of crime and providing trauma-informed support.
- Undertaking referrals to support services for long-term recovery.
- Facilitating assistance for victims, including accurate recordkeeping and undertaking delegated tasks.
- Maintaining collaborative relationships with external partners.
You will be empathetic and effective in responding to victims, promoting their rights and needs, and facilitating access to available services. Your role will involve identifying ways to improve services through creative ideas and data analysis.
