Be part of a dynamic team as an APS4 Payments Officer. This 12-month contract role offers the opportunity to work for a federal government client in Parramatta.

The successful candidate will have high-level contact with internal and external stakeholders, communicating and providing advice on matters ranging from straightforward to moderately complex enquiries.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Investigating and resolving outstanding payment requests that have been rejected through the myplace provider and participant portals.
  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to resolve payment enquiries.
  • Processing manual payments to providers and self-managed participants.
  • Working to resolve payment issues, guided by legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Contribute to decision-making within the team.
  • Consistently meeting team and individual work resolution targets.

This position requires:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Desirable: experience in government, disability, or healthcare sectors.
  • Excellent communication skills.
