Payments Transformation Specialist

A leading financial services provider is seeking a payments transformation specialist to join their team on a long, fixed-term contract.

The organisation is currently embarking on large-scale transformation programs, including the uplift of their payments platform.

As a key member of the IT team, you will be responsible for planning and designing solutions to enhance controls and standards in line with ISO27001 and COBIT 2019. This will involve working closely with business and technology stakeholders to align governance and controls with internal standards.

To achieve this, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant industry certifications (e.g., TOGAF)
  • Demonstrated experience as a solution architect in complex environments
  • Proven experience in planning and designing solutions for payments platforms (NPP, SWIFT etc)
  • Strong understanding of ISO27001 and COBIT
  • Knowledge and understanding of traditional on-prem infrastructure (VMware, AD, SQL Server etc) combined with modern DevOps toolsets (Puppet, Terraform, Gitlab, Azure DevOps Services etc)
  • Superior stakeholder engagement skills, with proven ability to negotiate and influence
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
