In this role, you will be responsible for mechanical engineering design for dam operations and equipment integration. You will work closely with our team to develop sustainable water solutions and mentor the next generation of engineers.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual with a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated capability in mechanical design, including the preparation of design reports, design drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mechanical engineering design for dam operations and equipment integration
- Inspection, investigation and condition assessment of existing dams
- Construction support services including inspection of works, evaluation of quality control and quality assurance data and construction reporting
- Preparation of tenders and proposals & providing mentoring
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated capability in mechanical design, including the preparation of design reports, design drawings and specifications, ideally within the dam industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to develop and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders, clients as well as the local industry
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (essential)
