We are looking for a Dams Engineer to join our Water Dams team based in Brisbane. In this role you will work on hydropower and water dams projects in a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, scientists and designers. This is a technical role focused on conceptual and detailed engineering design and investigations of water-related infrastructure, maintaining design in accordance with relevant standards, guidelines, and specifications.

This role will give you the opportunity to:

  • Apply and develop your dam engineering skills by working on complex engineering projects.
  • Work with a team of world-recognized engineers on domestic and international projects with potential for travel.
  • Have a direct impact and solve some of the most complex problems in the bulk water infrastructure sector.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment, with high value placed on quality and technical excellence.
  • Work on projects including owners engineering services, design of large multidisciplinary projects, quantitative risk assessments, dam safety reviews, site-based investigations, and construction supervision.

Attributes and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)
  • CPEng / RPEQ certification or eligibility to apply within 12 months of joining.
  • Demonstrated experience in dam design and construction.
  • Proficiency in engineering software and tools.
  • Strong understanding of environmental and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
