Key Role Summary

Leading a Clinical Services team requires combining clinical expertise with leadership and guidance of practice. We are seeking an experienced Professional to drive Clinical Services forward, leveraging therapeutic knowledge and skills to lead reflective sessions, guide complex case discussions, and support care teams in building strong relationships between children and carers.

This role demands a strong leader who sets the standard, builds capability, and ensures high-quality care. The successful candidate will have experience in mental health, trauma, and child and adolescent development, with strong leadership, collaboration, and ability to inspire others in this vital work.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement clinical strategies that enhance service delivery and outcomes.
  • Lead and participate in collaborative efforts with case managers, carer development staff, and other clinicians to build capacity, provide consultation, and drive evidence-based practices.

The ideal candidate will possess relevant tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Family Therapy or a related discipline, as well as post-graduate training in relevant child, adolescent and family clinical practice. Proven leadership experience in Clinical Services or a related function is essential, along with the ability to participate collaboratively and constructively in both leadership and participant roles within teams of peers, staff and other stakeholders.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Family Therapy or a related discipline.
  • Post Graduate training in relevant child, adolescent and family clinical practice, family therapy and systemic thinking is highly desirable.
  • Leadership experience in Clinical Services or a related function.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration and communication skills.
