Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef Supervisor to join our team at The State Of Queensland. As a key member of our culinary operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production and presentation of high-quality food items for patients and clients of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and assist staff in the production and distribution of food items, ensuring high-quality and accurate presentation.
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene regulations and safe food handling practices.
  • Maintain accurate records, including temperature monitoring, goods receipting, and cleaning schedules.
  • Participate in the Nutrition and Food Service Management Team and provide training to new staff.
  • Contribute to the health equity agenda and meet the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people within the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
