Clinical Care Lead

NSW Health seeks a professional with advanced clinical, strategic, educational and programmatic expertise to provide leadership in the establishment and implementation of an Adult Survivors Program.
The successful candidate will have experience in providing counselling, group work, parenting and case management interventions to clients with child protection, violence, neglect and trauma. They will also possess excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills with diverse stakeholders.
This role requires a Social Work qualification and extensive postgraduate clinical experience. The ideal candidate will be able to initiate and lead quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation, as well as work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
Responsibilities:- Establish and maintain effective networks with relevant clinical streams, clinicians, and services within the LHD.
- Facilitate partnerships between services/streams to improve service delivery and coordination.
- Advanced clinical and strategic expertise.
- Extensive postgraduate clinical experience in child protection, violence, neglect and trauma.
- Excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills.
- Ability to provide high level clinical advice and education.
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
