Job Opportunity

The Clinical Coordinator - Adult Survivors Program plays a pivotal role in the establishment and implementation of NSW Health's new Adult Survivors Program – a specialist integrated program for adult survivors of child sexual abuse with complex needs.

  • Leads the establishment of local clinical networks and relationships.
  • Establishes and maintains effective networks with relevant clinical streams, clinicians, and services within the LHD.
  • Facilitates partnerships between services/streams to improve service delivery and coordination.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing high-level clinical advice and education to enhance service delivery.
  • Leading quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes.
  • Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team and interacting collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application:

  • Social work qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) and demonstrated commitment to ongoing clinical and professional learning.
  • Demonstrated extensive post-graduate clinical experience in providing counseling, groupwork, parenting and case management interventions to clients where child protection, violence, neglect and trauma incidents have occurred.
  • Excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills, including the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders throughout all organisational levels.

This role requires strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a regional or rural setting.
