About the Role

Full-time Mechanical & Airconditioning Engineer position available with a competitive salary range between $75,000 - $90,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks
  • Develop HVAC system designs, including split systems, ducted air conditioning, VRV (Variable Refrigerant Volume), and multi-split systems, ensuring optimal efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Oversee installation projects from initiation to completion, coordinating with clients and team members to meet timelines and quality standards.
  • Diagnose issues, provide troubleshooting for system failures, and recommend technical solutions to optimize system performance.
  • Develop and execute maintenance schedules to ensure system reliability and longevity.
  • Ensure all work meets safety, environmental, and regulatory standards, maintaining detailed documentation for all projects.
  • Conduct regular performance tests on HVAC systems, analysing results to recommend adjustments or improvements for optimal system efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and energy-efficient HVAC solutions to implement innovative practices and elevate service standards.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably in HVAC engineering with a focus on split systems, ducted air conditioning, VRV and multi-split systems.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of Australian standards and regulations for HVAC systems.
  • Capable of overseeing projects, managing budgets, timelines, and coordinating with clients, team members and contractors.
  • Ability to analyse thermal loads and energy efficiency to optimise system performance.
