Full-time Mechanical & Air Conditioning Engineer Position

Are you a skilled Mechanical & Air Conditioning Engineer looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Airworx Air Conditioning, a leading provider of expert HVAC solutions across Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HVAC system designs, ensuring optimal efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Oversee installation projects from initiation to completion, coordinating with clients and team members to meet timelines and quality standards.
  • Diagnose issues, provide troubleshooting for system failures, and recommend technical solutions to optimize system performance.
  • Develop and execute maintenance schedules to ensure system reliability and longevity.
  • Ensure all work meets safety, environmental, and regulatory standards, maintaining detailed documentation for all projects.
  • Conduct regular performance tests on HVAC systems, analysing results to recommend adjustments or improvements for optimal system efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably in HVAC engineering with a focus on split, ducted, VRV and multi-split systems.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of Australian standards and regulations for HVAC systems.
  • Capable of overseeing projects, managing budgets, timelines, and coordinating with clients, team members and contractors.
  • Ability to analyse thermal loads and energy efficiency to optimize system performance.

Salary and Benefits:

This is a full-time position with a competitive remuneration package between $75,000 - $90,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
