Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled System Engineer to lead the elicitation, definition, prioritization, and validation of requirements and design of business processes to meet the needs of our clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of UNIX, R, SAP, Oracle, VBA, AWS, APIs, REST, and SOAP, as well as experience with SQL (Database) and exceptional mathematical abilities.
This role involves performing gap analysis using data and process modelling techniques to create clear system specifications for the design and development of system software. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing the development of Business Process Specifications and System Functional and Non-Functional Specifications, reviewing and revising documentation in light of new or changing information, and ensuring that risks, project, and operational, are managed in accordance with set risk framework.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Bachelor degree level
- At least 2 – 3 years working in a high-performance computing environment in the capital markets or investment banking industry
- Acquired knowledge of the Calypso application
- Practical experience with UNIX, R, SAP, Oracle, VBA, AWS, APIs, REST, and SOAP
- Experience with SQL (Database)
- Exceptional mathematical, engineering, and/or technical abilities
- Previous Clearing House Experience is preferable
