We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Woolworths Group. As a key member of our HVAC engineering team, you will play a critical role in supporting the design, installation, and operation of our retail stores' HVAC systems.

Reporting to the Facilities Management team, you will be responsible for addressing RFIs, issuing engineering advisory bulletins, and supporting continual education through masterclasses. You will also manage relationships with Construction Field Engineers & Project Managers, assessing field feedback to improve product quality and system design.

In collaboration with the Standards Team, you will ensure that our HVAC Specification is current, reflects best practice manufacturing standards, and serves as a prescriptive specification for procurement, Quality Assurance, safety, and compliance purposes.

You will work closely with Property to develop and execute strategies for HVAC assets, focusing on optimized life cycle outcomes. Additionally, you will develop networks and strategic partnerships with key technology providers, consultants, and education institutions.

To succeed in this role, you will have a Bachelor's degree (Washington Accord recognized) in engineering and qualify for registration with a state-based or national professional body of engineers. You will possess extensive experience in a HVAC engineering role, preferably in a design capacity, and have an understanding of the National Construction Code (particularly Section J), applicable Australian and International Design Standards, and codes of practice.

The estimated salary for this position is AU$95,000 - AU$120,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
