We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Kitchenhand to join our team at Montessori Academy. As a Kitchenhand, you will be responsible for preparing and serving healthy meals to our students, ensuring a safe and hygienic food environment, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve healthy meals to students, including food preparation, meal plating, and service
  • Ensure a safe and hygienic food environment, adhering to food safety and handling procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including cleaning and dishwashing
  • Assist with kitchen cleaning and maintenance tasks as required
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and effective food service
Requirements
  • Current Working with Children Check (paid)
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willing to obtain one)
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment
  • Strong understanding of food safety and handling procedures
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
