About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Kitchenhand to join our team at Montessori Academy. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving healthy meals to our students, ensuring a safe and enjoyable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals for our students, adhering to strict food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ensure the kitchen is clean and organized, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and presentation
  • Assist with food preparation, including meal planning, grocery shopping, and food storage
  • Work collaboratively with our kitchen team to ensure smooth service and high-quality food
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with our students, parents, and colleagues
Requirements
  • Current Working with Children Check (paid)
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment
  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene procedures
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
