Key Role in Recovery and Return to Work
The Mobile Return to Work Specialist plays a vital role in supporting injured workers, treating health practitioners and employers to achieve recovery and return to work.
- This role involves working face-to-face with clients to provide guidance and support throughout the claims process.
- You will engage with the broader team members to deliver a holistic approach that prioritizes customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing face-to-face and virtual intervention to support recovery and return to work services for injured workers and clients.
- Identifying biopsychosocial risk factors impacting injured workers' recovery and return to work, and applying person-centred claims management to mitigate these risks.
- Leading coaching and mentoring sessions to influence positive claims outcomes relating to recovery and return to work.
- Utilizing workers' compensation knowledge and skills in injury management, along with exceptional stakeholder management skills, to achieve optimal service and return to work outcomes.
- Communicating strategically with stakeholders, including upfront expectation setting and education regarding return to work obligations.
About You
- Tertiary qualification or return to work certification in an appropriate discipline and/or experience in a similar role in the industry is essential.
- Leadership skills and ability to coach, mentor, lead conversations and influence outcomes relating to claims management and return to work are required.
- Thorough practical understanding and experience in effective management of return to work are necessary.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service to a wide range of clients and stakeholders is expected.
