About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Asset Recovery Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing complex applications for funding, collaborating with other teams, and providing support to the wider group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessing applications for asset recovery funding according to guidelines and procedures.
  • Collaborating with registered liquidators and their staff on applications.
  • Working with other ASIC teams on asset recovery initiatives.
  • Preparing agreements, scope of work, and communication plans.
  • Providing support to the Enforcement and Compliance Group team.
Our Team

The Asset Recovery team plays a critical role in handling initial inquiries, compliance, and enforcement across all sectors except markets.

One key aspect of our team's work is the Companies and Small Business Portfolio, which includes the Assetless Administration Fund (AAF) team.

This team oversees enforcement and compliance activities related to companies and small businesses, including misconduct by registered liquidators.

The AAF team assesses complex applications for funding and manages grants for liquidators of companies with limited or no assets, facilitating investigations or asset recovery actions.
