Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Personal Assistant to provide efficient and effective secretarial support to the Director Corporate Services.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a professional and cooperative work environment, providing a helpful, efficient and courteous service to other Officers, Elected Members and the public.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide administrative support to the Director Corporate Services, including preparing agendas and minutes.
  2. Use highly developed secretarial and administrative skills to maintain accurate records and provide excellent customer service.
  3. Previous experience as a Personal Assistant or Secretary is highly desirable.
  4. Demonstrated experience in minute-taking with a public audience, and knowledge of relevant Local Government legislation, are highly valued.
