Job Description

The successful candidate will report directly to the Executive Director of each company, overseeing a small accounting team responsible for day-to-day ledger maintenance, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, payments, payroll, tax compliance, and other key financial functions. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership skills and a keen eye for detail.

  • Preparation of ASX/AIM and statutory reporting – Quarterly activities reports, interim and annual financial statements.
  • Delivering financial modelling, budgets, regular cash flow forecasts.
  • Ensuring strong processes and finance team capability exists within the company to enable timely, efficient, and accurate financial reporting.
  • Interface with auditors and managing the audit process.
  • Overseeing preparation of tax returns and interface with external tax agents.
  • Managing workflow and small team.
Key Qualifications & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • CPA or CA qualification with a minimum of 5 years' experience.
  • Prior experience working with companies listed on the ASX and/or LSE is highly desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and tax compliance.
  • Experience in preparation of year-end accounts and Annual Reports.
  • Above-average Excel modelling skills and other Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to use and extract data from Xero and MYOB.
  • Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
