Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Health and Wellbeing Professional to lead our team in promoting health and wellbeing, preventing workplace injuries, and ensuring effective injury management and return-to-work processes for injured workers.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Exercise Physiologist or Occupational Therapist looking to make a tangible difference in a dynamic team environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Injury Prevention and Management: Develop and implement strategies to prevent workplace injuries and effectively manage return-to-work processes.
  • Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs to empower managers and supervisors in injury reporting and management.
  • Strategic Planning: Drive workplace health and safety (WHS) improvements and ensure compliance with legislation.
  • Research and Development: Collaborate with external research agencies to develop wellbeing initiatives that drive business outcomes.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze injury reports to inform strategic decisions and optimize WHS performance.
  • Legislative Compliance: Stay up-to-date with changes in workers' compensation and WHS laws to ensure the organization remains compliant.
  • Initiative Development: Plan and implement wellbeing and injury management initiatives that align with business objectives.
Key Qualifications and Experience
  • Accreditation: NSW Workover Advanced RTW Coordinator accreditation (can be obtained after commencing in the role).
  • Education: Degree in Exercise Physiology, Occupational Therapy, or Health and Rehabilitation.
  • Experience: Proven track record in developing rehabilitation and education programs that drive business outcomes.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of health and wellbeing principles and practices.
  • Skills: Strong investigative, mentoring, and communication skills.
