
Senior Trauma Care Specialist

Job Opportunity:
- Maintain accurate records in the trauma log and collect vital pre-hospital data.
- Conduct comprehensive trauma assessments on patients.
- Demonstrate advanced trauma skills, including chest tube insertions, fracture stabilization, and wound cleaning.
- Engage in educational development by presenting Level 1 trauma cases during regular case reviews and attending ongoing teaching sessions.
- Participate in clinical guidance with support from consultants and fellows.
About You:
- Possess relevant qualifications and experience, including a medical degree (MBBS or equivalent), registrable with the Medical Board of Australia, and Basic Life Support certification.
- Show expertise in trauma care and the ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
- Demonstrate proven experience in supervising medical staff and teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Show commitment to quality patient care and a comprehensive understanding of trauma management.
