The National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) is a Centre of excellence in education and training, located at Kensington in Sydney.

As a Theatre Staging Operations Manager, you will ensure the efficient operation of NIDA's theatre staging staff and resources to support its educational and commercial activities.

The role requires a highly organized technician with leadership skills, knowledge of theatre staging equipment, and a commitment to supporting NIDA's teaching environment.

You will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating the work of theatre staging staff, managing resources and budgets, and ensuring that all shows and events are run smoothly and efficiently.

The position involves a 76-hour fortnight, scheduled as needed based on venue requirements.

A key aspect of this role is providing exceptional customer service to NIDA staff and students, as well as external clients and audiences.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

They will also have a strong understanding of theatre staging equipment and practices, as well as experience in leading and managing teams.

The annual salary for this position is AU$110,000 - AU$130,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
