Support Worker Opportunity

We provide safe, supportive living environments through our tailored accommodation and 24/7 support services.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live fulfilling lives. You will work closely with participants, clinicians, and families to provide person-centred care that promotes independence, inclusion, and choice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing personal care and community access support
  • Working in participants' homes or in purpose-built facilities
  • Managing complex needs including behaviours of concern, trauma, forensic backgrounds, and/or high clinical needs
  • Administering medication and following detailed health support plans
  • Implementing behaviour support plans and using de-escalation techniques
  • Providing meaningful, person-centred care to NDIS participants
  • Collaborating with clinicians, case workers, and families
Requirements

We are looking for people with a range of experience and qualifications:

  • Minimum 6–12 months' experience in disability, aged care, home care, mental health or related fields
  • Certificate III/IV/Diploma in Disability, Individual Support, Aged Care, or similar (preferred)
  • Experience with high-intensity behavioural support
  • Strong communication, emotional intelligence, and boundary setting
  • Experience with high-intensity or complex behaviours (advantageous but not required for all roles)
  • NDIS Worker Screening, First Aid, Driver's Licence and insured vehicle
