Travel Trade Recruitment is a dynamic industry leader, seeking an experienced Sales and Business Development Manager to drive sales growth and expand our client base.
Job DescriptionThis exciting opportunity involves developing and implementing effective sales strategies, building strong relationships with travel agency partners, and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify potential partners, initiate contact, and conduct meetings to present our clients' services and partnership opportunities.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives.
- Conduct sales presentations and product training sessions for travel agents and clients.
- Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements that drive mutual growth.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our products and services.
- Monitor market trends and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agents and other partners.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction.
To be successful in this role, you must have the following:
- Strong knowledge of travel products, destinations, and industry trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven experience in a travel sales or business development role, preferably within the travel wholesale industry.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 2 years' experience in the travel industry, ideally as a BDM/Sales Rep. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to leverage and convert existing travel industry networks, manage and strengthen existing accounts, and possess natural charm and confidence to convert new clients through written/verbal, presentations, and sales visits.
