Senior Orthoptic Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Orthoptist to join our multidisciplinary team at the Eye Clinic.
The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality orthoptic care to patients, including investigation and management of adult and paediatric patients with strabismus and ocular motility disorders.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, coordinate and deliver high quality orthoptic care to patients consistent with policies, procedures and standards.
- Provide ophthalmic assisting services, including perimetry, OCT, refraction, and ocular Biometry.
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and exercise independent professional judgement on routine matters.
- Must hold a Diploma or Bachelor of Applied Science in Orthoptics or equivalent qualification, with eligibility for registration with the Orthoptic Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the investigation and management of adult and paediatric patients with strabismus and ocular motility disorders within commensurate years of experience.
As an Orthoptist in this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for investigating and managing adult and paediatric patients with strabismus and ocular motility disorders.
