Job Title: Clinical Research Specialist

This role presents an opportunity to collaborate with researchers in a dynamic environment at the Sydney Eye Hospital. As a specialist, you will contribute to delivering clinical trials and implementing research protocols.

  • Responsibilities include performing retinal imaging and working under the supervision of clinicians.
  • The position also involves a significant administrative workload requiring strong organisational skills to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

Requirements for this position include tertiary qualifications in orthoptics, experience in applanation tonometry, retinal OCT imaging and other relevant skills. You must also possess excellent communication skills to interact effectively with various individuals including patients, researchers and healthcare professionals.

As this role entails child-related work, you are required to apply for and obtain a Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012.
