As such, they are seeking to employ a Senior Contract Administrator to oversee the delivery of current and upcoming projects from start to finish in their Sydney division.

About the Position

As the Senior Contract Administrator, you will report directly to the Project Manager, working collaboratively with the site and project team to deliver multiple projects across Sydney NSW, from design stage through to completion. These projects range up to $50M. You will liaise with the client and the project team to ensure that the project is delivered on time and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project design and development
  • Coordinate services and ensure smooth project execution
  • Handle variations and changes to the project scope
  • Procure materials and services as required
  • Develop and manage project programming and timelines
  • Control project costs and ensure budget adherence
  • Manage client relationships and expectations
  • Mentor, train, and support junior Contract Administrators
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants
Requirements
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Leadership and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in building, construction management, quantity surveying, or a related field
  • Solid local experience working as a Contract Administrator across commercial building projects
  • Understanding of Australian commercial and legal issues pertaining to contracts
  • Working knowledge of major building trades
