Job Title: Strategic Solutions Specialist

The Callista software team in Geelong is responsible for designing and developing an integrated, web-enabled student management system for tertiary institutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing functional solutions that meet business needs.
  • Collaborating with clients to analyze business processes and practices.
  • Interacting with clients to provide analysis sessions, walk-throughs of business requirements specifications, and product presentations.
  • Working with other analysts, architects, and developers to ensure product vision and designed solutions are feasible and viable.
  • Reviewing and providing advice on software design based on a sound understanding of business requirements and architecture.
  • Producing detailed designs and user stories that enable effective and efficient development and testing.
  • Assisting with pre-sales activities as required, including preparing documents or contributing to sales presentations.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience in the Australian tertiary education sector.
  • Ability to identify, articulate, and agree on business requirements.
  • Capacity to turn business requirements into functional requirements and produce user stories that succinctly describe the functionality required.
  • Experience with API & Integration definition would be beneficial.
