Project Solutions Specialist

As a skilled Project Solutions Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering innovative solutions in materials handling and packaging systems across various industries.

The role involves planning, designing, and coordinating the construction, modification, and maintenance of materials handling equipment. You will work closely with clients to develop layouts, process schemes, and technical specifications for tenders and construction.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of design documentation.
  • Assessing and negotiating design variations while controlling costs and resources.
  • Building strong relationships with clients, contractors, and design teams.
  • Identifying risks and delivering effective engineering solutions.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
  • Experience across end-to-end project delivery (design → construction → commissioning).
  • Background in one or more of the following areas:
    • Food & Beverage: packaging lines, filling equipment, CIP systems, conveyors.
    • Waste Recovery (MRFs): shredders, sorters, balers, screening systems, bulk handling.
    • Parcel / Baggage Handling: baggage conveyors, sortation systems, ASRS, airport automation.
  • Strong knowledge of conveyors, robotics, automation, bulk and unit load handling equipment.
  • Knowledge of process engineering design codes, procedures and practices and computer-based design processes.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
