Adult Psychiatrist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Adult Psychiatrist to provide high-quality clinical services in community and inpatient settings.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering inpatient and outpatient mental health clinical services, managing complex treatment needs and/or high-risk situations, leading multidisciplinary teams, collaborating with consultant psychiatrist colleagues, and establishing partnerships with non-mental health practitioners and service providers.
  • The candidate will also provide clinical teaching to junior medical staff, students, and other clinicians.

Requirements:

  • Registration as a specialist with the Medical Board of Australia is required.
  • A Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) or equivalent qualification is preferred.
