Senior Palliative Care Specialist

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Senior Palliative Care Specialist to join our team in Queensland.

This role combines travel opportunities with a strong clinical structure, delivering exceptional end-of-life care. You will provide high-quality leadership and expert palliative care advice, developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans to meet client healthcare needs and promote quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert clinical leadership and guidance on palliative care best practices.
  • Develop, implement, and review care plans that cater to diverse client needs.
  • Cultivate effective relationships with clients and other stakeholders to identify and address their unique requirements.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
Requirements:
  • Current Registered Nurse Licence and Registration Certificate to practice in the State where employed.
  • Demonstrated extensive clinical experience in palliative care and relevant postgraduate qualifications.
  • A proven ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A willingness to travel for varying periods of time to support service delivery.
  • A strong commitment to providing person-centred care that prioritises the well-being and dignity of each individual.
