Obstetrician Position

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated obstetrician to join our team in Cairns. As a leading provider of maternity services, we offer a unique opportunity for a clinician who is passionate about delivering high-quality care.

About the Role:
  • Provide expert inpatient and ambulatory obstetric care, including antenatal clinics and caesarean section lists and on-call cover.
  • Support a collaborative maternity care model in a high-complexity, tertiary setting.
  • Mentor and train junior medical staff, contributing to RANZCOG Fellowship training.
About You:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team of obstetricians, medical colleagues, nurses, and allied health professionals.

You will be based in Cairns and provide an effective and integrated service across the region.

Duties/Abilities:

As a senior staff specialist or staff, you will assist in ensuring that Obstetrics and Gynaecology services are delivered to the highest standard and in an efficient manner.
