
Strategic Business Development Manager

This is a key opportunity to lead strategic planning and decision-making in the FMCG industry as a Senior Commercial Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing annual planning, rolling forecasts, and designing rebate and promotional strategies that drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate closely with the Commercial Director to lead annual planning, rolling forecasts, and design of rebate and promotional strategies.
- Deliver timely and insightful commercial reporting, including tracking sales performance against targets and providing monthly, quarterly, and annual outlooks.
- Review and analyze month-end P&Ls with regional and country managers, and support the development of P&Ls for new product initiatives.
- Work with Sales and Marketing teams to evaluate promotional effectiveness, manage accruals, and provide financial input into campaign planning.
- Conduct detailed variance analysis, identify root causes of performance gaps, and contribute commentary for consolidated financial presentations.
- Participate in management meetings, offering financial insights to support strategic decisions across brands, business lines, and geographies.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA/CA qualified.
- Advanced Excel, Power BI, and Tableau skills.
- Strong problem-solving skill and communication skills.
- A self-starter who can work independently.
- Exceptional business partnering skills.
- Experience in the FMCG industry highly desirable.
