About the Role:

This leadership position is responsible for overseeing the compliance department and ensuring that all operations are conducted in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex systems and processes, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Compliance Management: Develop and implement effective compliance strategies to ensure regulatory compliance and minimize risks.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with operations to protect the organization's reputation and assets.
  • Leadership and Training: Provide guidance and training to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 15 years' experience in mining operations, preferably in a senior leadership role.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a field related to compliance or risk management.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
