We are seeking a seasoned Compliance Manager to lead our compliance department. This role involves providing strategic planning and leadership to support site operations, fostering collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to mine support functions including Health, Safety, Training, Environment, Biodiversity, Community, Property, Project Development, and Approvals to ensure safe and productive operations.
  • Enhance organisational efficiency by integrating cross-function support and consolidating common functions into single accountability roles.
  • Maintain and improve the site's centralised Compliance Management System, including standards, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Continuously improve site risk management and training systems.
  • Manage internal and external compliance verification processes.
  • Oversee the compliance calendar to align with site operations.
  • Monitor industry and legal developments to ensure timely and compliant operational changes.
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with senior leaders, other site teams, and corporate groups.
  • Support effective project development through engagement with study groups.

This role offers a Monday to Friday roster with one RDO per month, supporting a residential lifestyle in Mudgee or surrounding areas. The area offers a blend of country charm and modern convenience, known for its wineries, food scene, and community spirit.
