Job Title:

Claims Officer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Claims Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for owning a portfolio of accepted claims for customers across all industries in relation to treatment recovery and return to work needs by monitoring risk and identifying interventions required to influence optimal claim outcomes.

  • Monitoring risk and identifying interventions to achieve optimal claim outcomes

  • Gathering and analyzing information to support a worker's ongoing treatment and return to work following claim acceptance

  • Developing and maintaining rehabilitation and return to work plans in line with workers' needs, treatment requirements, and legislation

  • Ensuring liability decisions are made on claims in line with legislative requirements as needed

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience in insurance claims and/or medical background

• Well-developed interpersonal skills to interact with others and develop rapport with injured workers, employers, and medical professionals

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Highly developed time management skills with the ability to plan and prioritize high-volume caseloads
