Collections and Recovery Professional

The role of a Collections and Recovery Professional involves managing a portfolio of customer accounts to ensure timely payment and minimize debt. This includes owning credit issues, developing action plans to resolve them, and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external customers.

Main responsibilities:

  • Own and manage customer accounts to optimize cash flow and reduce risk.
  • Develop and implement strategies to recover outstanding debts.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders.

Skill and experience requirements:

  • A degree in commerce or accounting with at least 5 years' experience in a credit or collections role.
  • Knowledge of accounts receivable and ERP systems, preferably SAP or JDE.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
