Project Coordinator Role

The Project Coordinator is a key position within the project lifecycle, responsible for ensuring timely completion of deliverables and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate project activities, including planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure achievement of project objectives.
  • Establish project plans and programmes to meet client requirements and manage resources effectively.
  • Lead regular project meetings and prepare progress reports and proposals to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to review project design and documentation, maximising outcomes.
  • Administer contracts with vendors professionally and maintain positive relationships with clients.
  • Represent clients' best interests from inception to project completion.
  • Identify opportunities to engage other business lines and foster relationships with existing clients to increase exposure.
  • Encourage a collaborative environment where all team members can contribute and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders through actions and example.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree in Project Management or equivalent experience.
  • Confidence in managing project delivery from inception to closure.
  • Experience in managing cost reporting systems and knowledge of ISO standards.
  • Understanding of legal aspects and commercial constraints within projects and ability to negotiate with contractors and suppliers.
  • Willingness to assist in preparing project proposals and delivering presentations and in-depth understanding of different project delivery methods.
