This role requires a dedicated professional to support individuals with disabilities in achieving meaningful and sustainable employment. As an NDIS Employment Mentor, you will work closely with participants of the National Disability Insurance Scheme to help them identify their strengths, interests, and employment goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coaching participants in resume building, interview preparation, and workplace skills.
  • Collaborating with employers to advocate for inclusive hiring and identifying suitable job opportunities.
  • Providing ongoing support as participants transition into and sustain employment.
  • Facilitating workshops and training to build confidence and job readiness.

What We're Looking For:

  • A genuine passion for empowering individuals with disabilities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in employment services, mentoring, or working with individuals with disabilities (desired).
  • Knowledge of the NDIS and its employment-related supports (preferred but not essential).
  • The ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including participants, families, and employers.
